Pardo Design

Italian Design, Born from the Sea

The Art of
Italian Boat Building

Every Pardo begins in the same place: Cantiere del Pardo's shipyard in Forlì, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna — the same region of Italy that gave the world Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. It's no coincidence that Pardo Yachts share something of that spirit: a clean, decisive aesthetic where beauty and performance are never treated as separate ambitions.

What makes Pardo's design story unusual is where it comes from. For more than fifty years, Cantiere del Pardo built its reputation in sailing, with the celebrated Grand Soleil range - over 3,900 yachts delivered since 1973. When the shipyard turned that half-century of know-how to motor yachts in 2016, it didn't copy what everyone else was doing. It brought a sailor's thinking to powerboat design: efficient hulls, honest seakeeping, and layouts shaped around how people actually live on board.

Lines You Recognise Instantly

Moor a Pardo in any marina and you'll spot it immediately. The reverse bow, the low, sleek profile, the raised bulwarks and the uncluttered deck - these have become the brand's signature, and they've stayed consistent from the original Pardo 43 through to today's flagships. Nothing on a Pardo is decoration for its own sake; every line has a job to do, and the elegance comes from that discipline.

It's a design language that has been shaped in collaboration with internationally renowned naval architects and designers, refined model by model rather than reinvented each time. The result is a range with genuine family identity - each yacht unmistakably a Pardo, from the smallest walkaround to the largest GT.

Space That Works Like a Sailing Yacht

Pardo's sailing heritage shows most clearly in how space is used on board. Influenced by the spatial solutions of sailing tradition, every layout is designed to make the most of every metre: walkaround side decks that let you move safely from bow to stern, sociable open cockpits, panoramic glazing that keeps you connected to the sea, and interiors that feel calm, light and genuinely liveable rather than showy.

Across the three ranges - Walkaround, GT and Endurance - that philosophy adapts to different kinds of boating. The Walkarounds are pure day-boat freedom: open, agile and sociable. The GT models blend that dynamic spirit with the generous volumes of a cruising yacht. And the Endurance range is built for longer passages and life aboard, with efficient hulls and extended range. Different boats, same design DNA.

Performance With Purpose

Pardo's strapline is Feel the Power, and it's earned. The deep-V hulls deliver outstanding seakeeping and a genuinely rewarding drive, while modern propulsion - including Volvo Penta IPS systems on many models - brings efficiency, easy manoeuvring and quiet, confident cruising. Cantiere del Pardo's research and design team continually invests in new technology, but always in service of the same goal: yachts that are as capable and reliable as they are beautiful.

That commitment hasn't gone unnoticed at the highest level of the sport - Cantiere del Pardo is an official partner of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli America's Cup team, a fact that reinforces Pardo's engineering credibility.

Craftsmanship You Can Feel

Design at Pardo doesn't stop at the drawing board. Every yacht is built in Italy by craftspeople whose skills have been handed down through five decades of boatbuilding, with finishes considered down to the smallest detail - the stitching of the upholstery, the joinery, the way materials meet. Owners can tailor their yacht through a wide choice of layouts, materials and finishes, so each Pardo leaves Forlì with its own character as well as the family's unmistakable lines.

It's this blend - timeless Italian design, sailing-bred intelligence and meticulous craftsmanship - that convinced us Pardo belonged in our range, and it's what you feel the moment you step aboard.
