Premium marine fabrics, leathers and foams
We work with the leading marine textile houses and can show you samples of everything before you commit. Marine-grade leathers and vinyls, solution-dyed acrylics and outdoor fabrics that hold their colour, and quick-dry foams that don't hold water in an exterior cushion.
Covers, biminis and enclosures
Boat covers, helm and console covers, tender covers, biminis, sprayhoods, side screens and full cockpit covers. Made to pattern with marine-grade stainless fittings, clear PVC or glass windows and properly reinforced stress points.
Headlinings, carpets and soft furnishings
Replacement and re-trimmed headlinings, carpets and runners, curtains, blinds, throws, scatter cushions and bedding - finished as a co-ordinated scheme if you want one.
Domestic upholstery used in a marine environment often fails. UV can make colours fade quickly, leaving fabrics pale and colourless. Standard foam holds water and stays damp for weeks, while untreated fabrics grow mildew in a closed-up boat over winter.
Everything we use is specified for life afloat: UV-stable thread, marine-grade foams that drain and breathe, fabrics with proven salt and sunlight performance. It costs a little more at the outset but it lasts several times longer.
Can you match my existing upholstery?
Often yes, if the original fabric is still in production. If it isn't, we'll find the closest available match and show you samples - or use it as an opportunity to refresh the whole scheme.
Do I need to bring my yacht in?
Not always. For many jobs we can pattern on board at your berth and take the existing cushions away for replacement, which keeps disruption to a minimum.
How long does it take?
Individual cushions are usually a couple of weeks. A full interior scheme depends on fabric lead times - some marine leathers and specialist fabrics run to several weeks on their own.
Can you re-cover rather than rebuild?
Yes, where the foam is still sound. If it's gone flat or is holding water, replacing it at the same time makes far more sense than covering it.
Do you make covers for tenders and toys?
Yes - tenders, jet skis, seabobs, consoles and equipment covers can all be made to pattern.
