Dusseldorf Boat show is renowned as one of the world’s largest and most anticipating boating events. Hundreds of boat makers, marine suppliers and enthusiasts from across the globe head to Germany to see the very latest from the world of boating and watersports.
The Galeon 480 Fly is a new model from Galeon’s Fly range, which is defined by their inviting Flybridge deck. Despite measuring just under 50-foot, the 480 innovates with features more often found on larger models of yacht.
Particularly, the deck area has been designed to be more spacious and expansive, making use of every inch onboard to create more usable space, that passengers will naturally be drawn to. Galeon have also designed the 480 Fly with large, “oversized” windows on the main and lower decks, which beam natural light throughout the interiors, creating an airy and open atmosphere.
The Galeon 480 Fly also sees the return of Beach Mode.
Galeon Yachts of a particular size and model will come with Beach Mode as standard. This is a feature that lowers the side decks, or balconies, found in the cockpit area of the yacht. Once lowered, this extends the cockpit, with more space and sometimes seating on both sides of the yacht. In some cases, this can create a bar area next to the galley, or additional seating by the saloon. Most balconies feature tinted windows, which become part of the floor once extended in Beach Mode, allowing for a closer glimpse at the water below you, as you connect with your surroundings.
Galeon can be found in Hall 6, at Stand 6D59 at this year’s Dusseldorf Boat Show. The new stand will be even larger than previous years, with the 480 Fly making its debut from the 18th January to the 26th January.
