Wider, the renowned Italian shipyard, has set a new standard in luxury yachting with the introduction of the WiLder 60. This 18.9-meter masterpiece embodies the essence of bespoke superyacht craftsmanship, built within a performance yacht.
The WiLder 60 is designed for those who crave excitement and exclusivity. Its all-aluminum construction ensures both seaworthiness and stability, providing a smooth and quiet ride. Every detail, from the performance hull engineered by Wider to the expansive exterior and custom interiors, has been meticulously crafted to perfection.
Marcello Maggi expresses, "From her 40-knot performance and perfect poise in handling to her superb finish - thanks to WiLder's absolutely tailor-made, custom superyacht approach, a transformative innovation in this size bracket - there is nothing quite like the WiLder 60."
The WiLder 60's design is a modern classic, with sleek lines and sculptural elements that draw inspiration from supercars. The angular deckhouse, reverse bow, and sheerline create a striking silhouette. The yacht features bold exterior spaces, from the foredeck’s seating and sunpad to the alfresco dining area and large aft sunpad. Supercar details, like engine room intake vents and a wide aft end, hint at its power and performance.
At the heart of the WiLder 60's thrilling performance are twin MAN V8 engines, each delivering 1,300hp, linked to surface drives. This setup propels the yacht to those top speeds of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots, with a range of 240 nautical miles. Manoeuvrability is enhanced by bow and stern thrusters, a dynamic positioning system, and optional Quick MC2 Xl 9 stabilizers, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride.
Inside, the WiLder 60 offers a spacious and luxurious environment, fully customizable to meet each owner's desires. The first hull showcases an owner's cabin with ensuite, two guest cabins, a saloon with a designer galley, and an additional head and shower. The aft port cabin can be converted into a crew area, highlighting the yacht's adaptability.
The interiors exude that supercar essence, with a harmonious blend of materials and intricate detailing. Lighting plays a crucial role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by oak parquet flooring, Krion Coffee Cream countertops, and sophisticated fittings. The owner's suite features an enveloping bedhead and sofa design, adding to the yacht's luxurious feel.
Michele Lubrano Lobianco, Chief of Wider Centro Stile, emphasizes, "This is the epitome of the WiLder concept - bespoke interiors completed to the very highest superyacht standards of finish, combining Italian design flair with the ultimate craftsmanship. Going WiLder means knowing no bounds - you don't have to compromise on anything with the WiLder 60."
The launch of the first WiLder 60 marks a significant achievement for Wider and the 60-foot yacht market. As more custom WiLder 60s are developed, this first hull demonstrates Wider’s innovative approach, pushing the boundaries of luxury yachting.
Fabio Fraternale, Wider CEO, concludes, "The shows that performance yachts can still be luxurious; that 60-footers can still be built with a superyacht ethos; and that whatever a client imagines, we can make reality. Above all, she proves our vision - that this was a model that was born to be wild, for clients who were born to be WiLder."
