In the lead up to Lewis Hamilton’s record 9th victory at the weekend’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone, IWC Watches hosted an exclusive evening with Sir Lewis Hamilton to look back on their long-standing collaboration with the Formula One™ champion and IWC brand ambassador.
IWC Schaffhausen, the luxury watch brand, have been the official timekeepers for the Mercedes F1 Team, and now Lewis Hamilton's 10-year stint with Mercedes-AMG Petronas is coming to an end, but not without a celebration.
In July 2024, Lewis Hamilton, legendary British F1 Driver, set out on the Thames in London aboard the Pardo 43, stopping by key London Landmarks, as a celebration of "the best of British".
The Pardo Yacht itself was decked out with a gorgeous image of the Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Mercedes-Amg Petronas Formula One™ Team.
As Lewis cruised towards the pop-up display at Battersea Power Station, featuring highlights from his glittering career with Mercedes, he was joined by presenter Roman Kemp, for a unique interview taking in the top sights of London.
The two discussed some of the exciting opportunities made between IWC and Lewis Hamilton, from flying fighter jets, to golf tournaments and racing against drones.
Of course, Lewis has been doing this wearing, designing and representing some of the best luxury watches available on the market from IWC.
Argo Yachting were honoured to welcome Lewis and Roman aboard the Pardo 43, as the official UK dealer for Pardo Yachts.
